Chilly Goose Shaved Ice Opens in Kinston
Herring's daughter, Gracie Herring, reflected on the inspiration behind the shop. "Almost every single day after summer camp, I begged my mom to take me to get a shaved ice when I was younger," Gracie said. "She almost always said yes, and I later realized it’s because she had a genuine passion for it.
