    Mount Pleasant Fire Department celebrates engineer’s retirement after 21 years of service

    MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Fire Department (MPFD) announces the retirement of Engineer Ken Franks, who has served his community for 21 years.

    MPFD said Franks has made a lasting impact on both the department and the community, playing a significant role in firefighting operations, emergency responses, and community safety initiatives.

    “His knowledge, experience, and camaraderie will be greatly missed, but we wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement,” MPFD said.

    MPFD and the community join together in thanking Franks for his years of service and wishing him a happy and fulfilling retirement.
