American Legion The American Legion (Jessup — Reed) Post #210 of Mount Pleasant meets the third Tuesday of each month at Herschel’s Restaurant in Mount Pleasant starting at 7 p.m. Come early for food and fellowship. All veterans are welcome.

Murder Mystery Conservative Republicans of Northeast Texas Presents: A Murder Mystery! Saturday, July 6, 6:00 PM, RSVP required. Character roles will be assigned in June. You could be the victim, the murderer or an innocent by-stander. The location is the ‘Season’s’ venue in downtown Mt. Pleasant, which will look like a wine cellar that night. Nardello’s will be catering wine and
heavy hors d’oeuvres. Tickets for individuals are $40, couples $75. Invite your friends to join you for the evening.

Mt Pleasant Community Orchestra Summer Concert The Mt. Pleasant Community Orchestra will present their Summer Concert, “ A Knight In Space,” Saturday,

July 27, 6 p.m., at NTCC Whatley Center. Come enjoy the music you will recognize from Star Wars, Apollo 13, Star Trek, 2001 A Space Odyssey, and Interstellar. The concert is free. Donations will be welcome.
