WV man dead following crash on Raven Rock Road Tuesday morning
09 July 2024- Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred this morning in Frederick County. Shortly after 7:35 a.m., Troopers from the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack responded to Raven Rock Road (Maryland Route 491) for a report of a crash involving a tractor-trailer. The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, identified as Daniel Edward Ryan, 41, of Ridgeley, West Virginia, was declared deceased at the scene by Frederick County emergency medical service personnel.

GRANTSVILLE — Maryland State Police reported that a Ridgeley, W.Va. man died as a result of a motor vehicle collision near Grantsville on July 9. OAKLAND — The next meeting of the Garrett County Republican Women’s Club is Wednesday, July 17, with social time beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6. Romney is under a heat advisory today from noon until 8 p.m. According to the National Weater Service, the heat index value is expected to be 105 in portions in the eastern panhandle. It was 93 degrees in Romney shortly before noon Wednesday with a high of 95 expected.
