09 July 2024- Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred this morning in Frederick County. Shortly after 7:35 a.m., Troopers from the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack responded to Raven Rock Road (Maryland Route 491) for a report of a crash involving a tractor-trailer. The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, identified as Daniel Edward Ryan, 41, of Ridgeley, West Virginia, was declared deceased at the scene by Frederick County emergency medical service personnel.
