Shooting leaves 1 dead, another wounded in Kannapolis
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — A shooting that unfolded in Kannapolis late Tuesday night ended with an 18-year-old dead and another person wounded. The Kannapolis Police Department said it happened around 11:45 p.m. along Caribbean Court, south of Dale Earnhardt Boulevard. Officers said Damien Carter Senesaynho of Salisbury was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound, while the other victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
