HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Mt. Vernon man will serve time in prison after being convicted of multiple drug charges due to an undercover drug investigation.

Officials say Joshua Walden was amongst the 22 drug offenders that were apprehended due to an undercover investigation conducted by the Posey County Drug Task Force titled “Operation Last Dance,” which began in 2022.

Walden appeared in court on June 19 and was sentenced to 6 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges. As part of the plea, Walden admitted to delivering meth to an informant in 2023.

Walden will be serving his sentence at the Indiana Department of Correction.
