Celebrate an artistic legacy at the Gallery of the Mountains 40th anniversary
One of Asheville’s original galleries is celebrating its 40th anniversary from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 27-28, at Gallery of the Mountains. For four decades, Gallery of the Mountains nestled within the Omni Grove Park Inn has celebrated Appalachia’s inherent artistic talent. The gallery currently represents around 70 artists and craftspeople and showcases a wide range of work, including artisan-made jewelry, ceramic tableware, baskets, blown glass, handwoven scarves, and much more.
