ROCKY MOUNT — A global outage has interrupted N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles business services, including but not limited to driver license offices and license plate agencies throughout North Carolina, the NCDMV said on Friday. The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings of hospitals once again see UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill grabbing a top spot. The 2024-25 rankings by the magazine were released on Tuesday, with the hospital campus checking in at No. 2 overall out of 135 hospitals evaluated in North Carolina.
