Park District and DISC unveil new functional training room
July 17,2024 – The Decatur Park District and The Decatur Indoor Sports Center held a ribbon cutting Wednesday to celebrate the opening of its new HIIT Studio. H.I.I.T stands for High Intensity Interval Training and the DISC says the new facility has all of the tools needed to get your heart pumping. The functional training room includes a Movestrong Fitness Rig, 40+ feet of artificial turf, an Olympic deadlift area, power racks, Rogue & Get R’XD Crossfit equipment, Battle and climbing ropes, a designated area of weighted ball workouts, free weights and plyoboxes.
