Demolition underway of former Durfee School in Decatur
DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Demolition is underway of the former Durfee School in Decatur. The City of Decatur shared video of the demolition on its Facebook page Monday. The former school sits at the corner of Jasper and Grand. Demolition was approved by the Decatur City Council along with the former Coppenbarger/Centennial School building, which came down a few weeks ago.
