In sad restaurant news, A Taste of Both Worlds, the Filipino-Cambodian restaurant inside Broadway Food Hall, is closed permanently. A Taste of Both Worlds opened at the beginning of 2021 as Champaign-Urbana’s only Filipino and Cambodian eatery. The Urbana food hall vendor served awesome banh mi, delicious sisig, tasty turon, whole tilapia, and boodle fights (a communal meal with food spread across a table) in addition to offering excellent Restaurant Week specials like this num pang burger, crispy fried chicken, and buko pandan.

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 16, 2024-- The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago) is providing $50 million in interest rate subsidies to help expand affordable housing, economic development, and community partnerships in Illinois and Wisconsin through its new Community Impact Advance Pilot Program.
