Denver's migrant shelter is closing its doors as part of a new plan to support migrants in finding long-term shelter and jobs. In an effort to assist those who have been staying at hotel shelters, Mayor Mike Johnston and the city is offering free rent to eligible individuals and families for six months including food. This initiative aims to help migrants transition to more permanent housing, providing them with a safe and stable environment as they work toward establishing a new life in Denver. A push to expedite working permits were also at the top of the agenda at a recent announcement as well. Let us know your thoughts.
