The body of a Mosaic employee was recovered over the weekend from a machine that blends fertilizer at the company’s New Wales phosphate plant in Mulberry, according to a spokesperson for the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Jameka Williams, 29, was last seen working at the facility about 6:30 p.m. Friday before she slipped and fell into the large, enclosed tank, according to spokesperson Carrie Horstman.

On Saturday morning, Sheriff Grady Judd said that responders were “still working to get her out” of the machinery.
