MUNCIE, Ind. — More than 60 factory workers will soon be without work in Muncie after a stamping plant announced it will shutter its doors this fall.

North American Stamping Group, located at 3401 W. 8th Street in Muncie, filed a WARN notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on Tuesday announcing the closure. The factory produces stamped metal parts and weldments, according to their website.

North American Stamping Group said the closure is permanent with layoffs going into effect on Nov. 30. All 62 workers will be laid off due to the closure.
