Flat track racing and its stars are focus of award-winning Madison film, ‘Angels Of Dirt’
When Charlotte Kainz started to draw as a toddler, she didn’t doodle rainbows or stick people or sun rays on the page. Kainz, of West Allis, drew what she loved: an XR750, a Harley-Davidson racing motorcycle. That’s the bike Kainz would eventually ride to a career in professional flat track racing.

Starting Pitcher Chart – July 1st, 2024
The updated rankings are done! They will be live Monday. Sorry for the delay that led to no official June update. I’ll update again after the Trade Deadline. We also have our shortest slate of the season so far with just 3 games, too, so I decided to put the 2-start chart here instead of splitting the posts. I usually split if the Monday chart is taking a while and I need to get to bed, but obviously a 6-man board doesn’t take much time. Start Gore & Brown, maaaaybe consider Peterson in some spots and stay away from the other 3! That said, I will still give you the chart with the info so you can make you own decisions. Maybe you’re hoping for a cheap win from Wilson in Coors since Milwaukee is so good. I have an unreasonable soft spot for him and even I’m not really giving him any consideration.

River Rats drop to bottom of DCL standings
The Maunesha River Rats are getting a taste of just how hard it is to win in the Dairyland Collegiate League. When we last checked in on the Rats, they were battling a three-game losing streak. In the past week, that slump had now skidded to seven straight losses, dropping Maunesha to the bottom of the standings at 4-10. The River Rats played four games in as many days, starting with an 8-0 road loss to the Waukesha Foxes on Wednesday, June 26. The next...
