From Fire Truck To Food Truck: Wood-Fired Pizza Craze Hits West Michigan
Food trucks are huge in West Michigan and now there is one pizza maker has taken the food truck to another level with a pizza oven in a fire truck. The first time I tried wood-fired pizza was in Muskegon at Rolling Stone Wood-Fired Pizza Co. A former co-worker of mine's uncle owns the business and after a live broadcast we went over to grab a pizza and it was the first time I had ever heard of wood-fired pizza. By the way, the pizza was incredible.

The Ice Cream Man Has Now Taken to the Waters of One Michigan Lake
If you find yourself swimming at Muskegon Lake this summer, be sure to look out for the ice cream man, because he's upgraded to pontoon. When I was a kid, one of the highlights of the summer would be when the ice cream man would drive through my neighborhood. It was the perfect sweet treat on a hot day. So it's no wonder that people love that the ice cream man has now taken to the water.
West Michigan’s Pickle-Themed Restaurant is a Big ‘Dill’

Pickle-flavored everything exists in one form or another, and it's nearly impossible to ignore seeing it somewhere on an aisle at the grocery store. Heck, even restaurants are starting to serve pickle drinks, cocktails, and shots on their regular menus.
Horses for Harbor Hospice September 21st - Meet Melissa DeWitt
When she was a little girl, it was just a dream to own a horse. As an adult, there are three of them and the feeling that comes from her passion for horses extends well beyond the animals themselves. The horses are connections. They are conductors of togetherness and they are too a reason to gather and share. Any group that does these things generally finds that the comradery and kinship will spill over and a cause will be found to help an organization beyond their own, and luckily for Harbor Hospice, this group has chosen their work as the recipient of what they can raise in a benefit on September 21st.
