Report: Police force on Black Tulsans far exceeds representation in city

Shooting Incident at Econo Lodge Motel in Pryor Ends in Tragedy
PRYOR, Oklahoma ~ Last night, at approximately 9:39 PM, Pryor Creek Police Officers were dispatched to the Econo Lodge Motel on the south side of Pryor Creek in response to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim outside a motel room with two gunshot wounds to his upper body. Capturing all the drama, angst, and vivid imagery of the 2014 Tony Award-winning production, this performance was for one night only – but what a night it was. Though the characters are fictional, the book sheds light on historical events and the impact of COINTELPRO.
