    Authorities respond to stabbing at West Monroe Dollar General; suspect arrested

    WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On August 16, 2024, deputies of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing at Dollar General on Arkansas Road in West Monroe, La. The victim was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

    According to authorities, the victim was involved in an altercation with 33-year-old Tiffany L. Dowles. During the altercation, Dowles allegedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene in a white Ford sedan.

    Dowles was later located in the parking lot of Brookshires in West Monroe, La., and taken into custody. She was charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder and her bond was set at $751,500.

    As of this time, the victim is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
