U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Florida Man on Child Pornography Charges

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Florida — The U.S. Marshals Task Force, including members of the Walton County Sheriff's Office, arrested Christopher Pappenfort, 45, on outstanding warrants for child pornography.Pappenfort was taken into custody on Las Roblas Grande Drive in Santa Rosa Beach on August 14, according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office. In March, Pappenfort faced more than 60 felony charges for possession and distribution of child pornography following a search warrant executed by the WCSO Cyber Crimes Unit.He was transported to the Walton County Jail and issued a $100,000 bond. Pappenfort remains incarcerated at the time of this release, stated the source.
