MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Two men wanted for attempted murder in Myrtle Beach were arrested Thursday in Virginia, police said.

Jay’Quan O’Shawn Pollard, 26, and Xaviar Isiah Austin, 31, were arrested on fugitive warrants by the Lynchburg, Virginia, police and the U.S. Marshals Service. The arrests are in connection with an April 8 shooting in the 1500 block of Pachino Drive in Myrtle Beach.

Police responded initially at about 11:20 p.m. to a report of an aggravated assault but found a person who had been shot. Their injuries were not life-threatening, and no other details were immediately available.

Pollard and Austin are facing charges of attempted murder, burglary and failure to appear on an underlying charge of burglary. Austin is also being charged with criminal conspiracy, failure to appear on an underlying charge of computer use to commit a sex offense with a child under 18 and failure to comply with a court order.

Police said they will face extradition to South Carolina. Anyone with information is asked to call Myrtle Beach police at 843-918-1382.
