Several local girls qualify for state at 1A track and field sectional

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — More track and field action took place in Oregon Friday afternoon for the girls’ 1A sectional meet. A trip to state was on the line for many of our local athletes.

Forreston was the team champion out of 16 teams. The Cardinals won one individual event and two relays. Winnebago finished in second place.
