Rockford Art Deli hosts block party for their shop dog’s birthday, brings back free print day

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Art Deli hosted a mini block party for their shop dog’s, Pepper, birthday on May 18th.

In addition to the block party, they also brought back Free Print Day.

People who brought in a plain T-shirt could get a Bluey-themed picture of Pepper printed on it for free. There were also Bluey dog bandanas and a Bluey photo booth.

“We just love being a part of the Rockford area and giving back as much as we can,” said Rockford Art Deli Owner Jarrod Hennis.

The birthday party was complete with food trucks, Dairyhause and even a DJ.

“Just thought it was a good opportunity to celebrate Pepper she is very loved throughout the city and the customer base loves her,” said Hennis.

The partygoers were also asked to bring an item to donate to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary.
