    U.S. Marshalls find DeKalb man accused of June shooting in Chicago

    DEKALB, Ill. (WTVO) — The U.S. Marshall Service arrested Nathaniel Robinson, 44, in Chicago on August 1st after being accused of shooting a man in DeKalb.

    On June 23, DeKalb Police responded to the 800 block of Kimberly Drive for calls that a person was shot. When officers arrived, they saw a male victim who had a gunshot wound to the back.

    The victim was transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The victim told officials the man who shot him was Robinson.

    Robinson was on parole at the time in Illinois.

    On August 1st, the U.S. Marshall Service took the suspect into custody without incident and he is being held in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

    Robinson is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
