ROCHELLE, Ill. (WTVO) — Police arrested Steven Baldwin, 61, for two warrants out for his arrest among other charges.

On August 24, around 7:20 a.m., officials were dispatched to the 200 block of Joanne Lane for an unwanted person sleeping in a vehicle. When authorities spoke to Baldwin they determined he had two warrants out for his arrest in Ogle County.

Officers attempted to place the suspect under arrest, but he fled the scene in his car, according to police. Eventually, police took him into custody after a short pursuit.

Baldwin is being charged with aggravated fleeing to elude, driving while his license was suspended, failure to signal, and disobeying a traffic control device along with his two warrants for his arrest.
