Man, found parked on Oregon’s Washington Street, arrested for DUI

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — A Chicago man is under arrest for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol after police found him parked in the roadway on E. Washington Street.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to investigate after the car was seen parked in the 100 block of E. Washington Street, near a BP gas station, around 8:06 p.m. on Sunday.

Rafal Nalepa, 30, was arrested. In addition to the DUI charge, he was also cited for Illegal Parking in the Roadway.

Police took him to the Ogle County Jail for processing. He was later released with a notice to appear at a future court date.
