In the early morning hours of July 16, 2024, two individuals in an older model silver Toyota truck were captured on surveillance video entering the RV park located at 2918 Hwy 69 N. SPRING, Texas — Montgomery County authorities are actively investigating a shooting that left a 19-year-old dead and the suspect at large. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, along with Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, Gang Task Force Detectives, Precinct Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, have been working tirelessly to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Antlers man arrested for home-invasion turned homicide
ANTLERS, Oklahoma — A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion and homicide that occurred in August 2023, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).In the early morning hours of August 29, 2023, the Antlers Police Department requested OSBI's assistance with a home invasion near East Main Street and Northeast D Street in Antlers. Upon arrival, officers discovered 95-year-old Gladys Land and another 73-year-old female victim, both suffering from significant injuries. The victims were treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital. Forced entry was determined to have occurred through the back door of the home.Land succumbed to her injuries, while the second victim was later released from the hospital but continues to receive treatment for her injuries.Based on the information and evidence obtained, OSBI special agents arrested 20-year-old Kristopher Coffelt on July 17, 2024. Coffelt was booked into the Pushmataha County Jail on charges of First-Degree Murder, First-Degree Burglary, and Assault and Battery with Great Bodily Injury."We appreciate the assistance of the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office and the Antlers Police Department in this investigation and arrest," stated the OSBI.

Driver and passenger arrested on multiple felony charges in Montgomery County
MONTGOMERY, Texas — A traffic stop on Highway 105 near Marina Drive led to the arrest of two individuals on multiple felony charges, authorities said. Edward Nikolik was arrested for two felony warrants out of Galveston County and two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable's Office. According to court documents, 34-year-old Cliofa Delacruz, of Austin, Texas, a four-time convicted felon, was arrested by Austin Police officers after allegedly ramming a law enforcement vehicle while evading. Delacruz is alleged to have possessed methamphetamine and a loaded firearm inside his vehicle.

At 7:08 p.m. on July 16, 2024, Elgin Police Department officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a disturbance and shots fired near County Line Road.
