New evacuation orders issued in Retreat Fire near Naches

NACHES, Wash. - New evacuation orders have been issued in the Retreat Fire in Yakima County.
Here are the current LEVEL 3 GO NOW evacuation orders:
US Highway 12 at Bear Canyon Trailhead (NF 1301 Forest Service Road), northeast to the "Y" (Highway 12/410)
From "Y" south along the borders of the Town of Cowiche and the City of Tieton to Cowiche Mill Road
Cowiche Mill Road west to NF 641 Forest Service Road
NF 641 Forest Service Road to Highway 12
Here are the current LEVEL 2 GET SET evacuation orders:
City of Tieton area
Cowiche Mill Road east to Summitview Road
Summitview Road North to the four-way stop on West Tieton Road, heading west on West Tieton Rod to the end of West Tieton Road
The west boundary is the end of West Tieton Road, going south to the 3600 block of Cowiche Mill Road
Here are the following road closures and other closures associated with this fire:
US Highway 12 remains closed between the Y at Highway 410 and the summit of the Pass at milepost 151
Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest
Ahtanum State Forest
Oak Creek Wildlife Area
The fire is currently about 14 miles southwest of Naches. It started on July 23 and the cause of the fire is under investigation. As of Saturday, July 27, the fire has burned 18,273 acres. Fire agencies are fighting the fire on the ground and from the air. Fire officials said crews are working to stop the fire from advancing and it is under a full suppression strategy.
The Yakima County Board of Commissioners approved a Declaration of Emergency on July 25. This declaration was made as the fire is growing and there are additional resources needed to get the fire contained.
