Ribbon cutting held for Outer Banks Health’s newly adopted beach access

Outer Banks Health has announced the inauguration of its beach clean-up initiative, marking a significant step towards preserving the pristine beauty of our coastal environment, noted a news release from the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce. On Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Bladen Street Beach Access in Nags Head, Outer Banks Health commenced its efforts towards ensuring cleaner, safer beaches for both residents and visitors with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from Outer Banks Health professionals, chamber members, and community members. Participants eagerly rolled up their sleeves, armed with gloves and bags, ready to embark on the task of removing litter from the shoreline. Outer Banks Health president Ronnie Sloan did the honors of cutting the ribbon.
