Pocatello City Council Votes on 2024 Budget Amendment
At tonight’s Pocatello City Council meeting a number of items were discussed and voted on. One of the main agenda items was the budget addition of $2.7 million dollars to the city’s 2024 budget. This money would be used to buy and improve the Western Recycling building at 3034 Garrett Way in Pocatello. With the recycling plant going up for sale, the city was looking at losing its city recycling program. By purchasing the recycling plant, the city will continue its program at a lower cost per tonnage. The City Council voted unanimously voted in favor of the budget amendment.
Cowboy churches in the West fill a need in rural areas
