Nanjemoy man, recently shot in the face, allegedly commits stabbing

On June 11, Charles sheriff’s officers responded to the report of a stabbing near 2998 Thomas Road in Bryans Road.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Labrons Edward Butler, 48, of Nanjemoy, who told them that he came to a camper in the backyard of the house to retrieve his son’s belongings, charging documents say. Butler’s son is listed in the charging documents as Tehran Butler, who is currently incarcerated for allegedly shooting his father in the face on May 27 in Nanjemoy.

Officers made contact with two people at the trailer after talking to Labrons Butler, who said he walked into the trailer and said some items in it belonged to him, according to charging documents.

One of the people in the trailer said that he began yelling at Butler, saying he was trespassing and needed to leave, prompting Butler to allegedly grab a knife from somewhere in the trailer and begin swinging it toward him, the documents say.

Upon trying to disarm Butler, one of the acussers was allegedly stabbed in the hand, charging documents say. Butler exited the camper and allegedly discarded the knife somewhere in the yard, but officers were able to locate the knife and found blood on the blade.

Officers contacted Tehran Butler, who said that he never asked his father to go to the trailer, the documents say.

Labrons Butler was charged with first-degree assault and burglary.

Man on motorcycle allegedly tries to run down officer

On June 11, Charles sheriff’s officers responded to the area of Oak Manor Drive in Waldorf for the report of a domestic disturbance.

Arriving on the scene, officers located a suspect, Pierre Stephon Wilson, 37, of Waldorf, on a motorcycle in the parking lot of the townhome community. Officers were able to identify Wilson because they were with him and another female earlier in the night for a similar call to service, charging documents say.

As officers were attempting to make contact with Wilson, he mounted his motorcycle and told officers to follow him as he was going to park the bike further in the parking lot, the charging documents say. Once Wilson put the bike in gear, he allegedly took off at a high rate of speed into the neighborhood and out of the responding officers’ lines of sight.

While officers stood in the parking lot, Wilson could be heard revving his motorcycle and coming back toward the officers’ location. Once visible, officers could see that he was charging directly toward them and trying to run them over, the charging documents say.

One officer had to jump away at the last second, and Wilson was able to flee the area again.

After refusing to drop the gun, Dorsey allegedly fired off a round during the struggle. Charging documents say the round struck a couch, prompting Dorsey to say, “That was a warning round. The next will go in him.”
