Naples Man Faces Federal Charges For Drug Trafficking And Firearms Offenses
NAPLES, Fla. – Jadyn Howard Loman, a 21-year-old resident of Naples, has been indicted on federal charges related to drug trafficking and firearm possession. United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announced the charges, which include possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
Naples man sentenced in 2022 DUI manslaughter case
FORT MYERS, Fla. — On Friday, a Naples man was sentenced to six years in prison for DUI manslaughter after a crash killed one and injured three others in Bonita Springs. James Nelligan, 39, reportedly crashed on Feb. 11, 2022, killing a 49-year-old New Jersey woman and leaving three others with minor injuries.
Technology cyber attack impacts banks, hospitals and businesses
A global technology outage caused by a faulty software update grounded flights, disrupted hospitals, banks, businesses and government offices on Friday. North Collier Hospital said the only impact they had was to their voice detection system, meaning people had to type their notes versus verbal dictation, but other than that, there were no issues.
