Jacksonville man indicted on methamphetamine distribution charges
JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A Jacksonville man has been indicted on charges of distributing 50 grams or more of pure methamphetamine, according to federal authorities. United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announced the indictment of 22-year-old Robert Howard III, also known as "Kenny Kapps," on two counts of methamphetamine distribution. If convicted, Howard faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 10 years and up to life in federal prison. The indictment also includes a notice of intent to forfeit $2,250 in U.S. currency, alleged to be proceeds from the offense.
