Karoline Striplin is IUWBB's New Tone Setter
While reports have confirmed that Mackenzie Holmes will be back in Bloomington this year working for the Hoosiers off the court, the team will sorely miss the presence of her work on the court. As the program's all-time leading scorer and one of the greatest bigs ever to suit up in college basketball, replacing her in full would be virtually impossible.

Similar to her fellow phenomenal classmate Lenee Beaumont, Julianna "Jules" LaMendola came to Bloomington a year ago with a proven track record of excellence throughout her high school playing days. Indiana football is coming off of a three win season in 2023 and just a 9-27 record since 2021, but the expectations around the program are the highest they’ve been in nearly four years. Why? New head coach Curt Cignetti who has been instrumental in the narrative shift around Indiana.

Indiana football recruiting: Hoosier commits setting the tone early
Indiana football doesn’t have much of a brand. Not one it’d like, anyway. There were pockets of success under Tom Allen, though no bowl wins. The Kevin Wilson era chaos teams that the college football internet loved always came close but never sealed the deal on a big upset or anything. It’s the losingest major college football program and has spent three years spiraling and swirling in mediocrity at best.

Indiana football 2024 position preview: Offensive line
Indiana’s offensive line has been the most scrutinized position group for the past few seasons. That ultimately resulted in a coaching change last offseason when Tom Allen hired former Wisconsin lineman guru Bob Bostad, who Curt Cignetti decided to keep on board when he took over in Bloomington. And for good reason.

Shay Ciezki's Trajectory is Nearly Symmetrical to Sara Scalia's
Neither Shay Ciezki or Sara Scalia began their collegiate careers at Indiana University, but all signs seem to indicate that each of their second NCAA stops's could leave a very similar (and lasting) impression within the walls of Assembly Hall. Once again, it would appear that the catalyst Teri Moren has swooped in out of nowhere to snag a sharpshooting combo guard from a Big Ten conference foe.
