For a unique experience, one just needs to join the Church Choir.  Not your neighborhood church, although that's ok too, the Church Choir -- Eric Church's Fan Club.

In 2015 Church sent his then unreleased album Mr. Misunderstood to the Church Choir fan club members well before anyone else heard the project.  He didn't even acknowledge the album on social media for days.  There was also no digital release -- simply, he sent it to his fans to enjoy before anyone else had access.  A gesture of appreciation.

Church always does things a little different than everyone else and his opening of Chief's, his own downtown Nashville restaurant, bar and music venue stays right on track with uniqueness.

The building located at 200 Broadway, is being given away, brick by brick.  Thousands of members of the Church Choir received a surprise in the mail -- a deed of ownership to an individual brick that make up the physical framework of the massive six-story Nashville venue.

"You've helped me build my career brick by brick, and I want the whole world to know that the building is yours.  This is not just another club downtown. This is our house," Church told his fans. "I've been involved in every step of restoring this historic building into a place we can call our own and, because you've been with me every step of my career, I'm proud to dedicate a physical brick of the Chief's building to each and every one of you."

Where most of the bars that carry celebrity names are actually run by a hospitality company that pays the artist for the use of their name, Church has a completely different approach.

According to Whiskey Riff , Church purchased the building for $24.5 million along with Ben Weprin.  He then stayed involved throughout the entire process of planning and designing the bar and venue.

The unique take on Chief's includes a two-story seated music venue that will be able to host ticketed live events, stained glass windows, and famous BBQ.

Church wants Chief's to be a place to gather and have a whole experience rather than just a pitstop on a bar crawl.

While an official announcement of opening day has not happened, a countdown appears on the Chief's website .  March 12 looks like a special day for Chief's.
