On Friday evening (April 19), Wallen took to social media to address the April 7 incident that resulted in an arrest and brief jail time for the 30-year-old who was released on a $15,250 bond hours after his booking. After being charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, Wallen shared he took the 12 days after his arrest to apologize directly to those affected by his actions.

“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks,” Wallen said in the first of two statements. “I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility…. I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe.”

Wallen recently kicked off his 2024 One Night at a Time tour which will be in Nashville May 2 and 3. Fans have expressed concern after learning his next court date for the incident is May 3, however according to Wallen’s statement, “Regarding my tour, there will be no change.”
