Jon Bon Jovi’s Nashville bar ups the experience with hologram technology

Jon Bon Jovi is making sure fans who visit his new Nashville bar have a one-of-a-kind experience.

After opening his new bar and music venue, JBJ’s Nashville , earlier this month with a special 5-song set, JBJ is now giving every fan that walks through the doors an opportunity to meet him, in a techy kind of way.

A 4K hologram unit was installed in the bar by Proto Inc. recently that projects a life-sized hologram of the icon for all visitors to enjoy. The experience will only grow for fans in the coming months as an additional unit is scheduled to be installed to project more members of Bon Jovi ’s band. Additionally, the bar will have the ability to welcome surprise guests via the technology that will give the illusion of them being there in person.

“This innovative addition of the Proto Hologram of Jon at JBJ’s exemplifies the commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences here on Broadway,” said Matthew Bongiovi of Bon Jovi Management in a statement.

JBJ’s Nashville is a 37,000-square-foot venue dedicated to “a rock ‘n’ roll revolution.” In partnership with BPH Hospitality, the bar features two, five-story structures with outdoor rooftop decks and panoramic views of Nashville’s famed Broadway strip in downtown.
