The NHL's 4 Nations Face-Off is taking place in February of 2025 and the nations involved are Canada, the United States, Sweden, and Finland. The first six players for Team Sweden and Team Finland have just been released and the Nashville Predators have a player on each. Filip Forsberg for Sweden and Juuse Saros for Finland.

Forsberg has been a star since his first full season in the NHL back in 2014-15 and is coming off a franchise record 48 goals and a 94-point season to help the Predators get into the playoffs and change the direction of the team.

Forsberg is one of three forwards selected to team Sweden and only William Nylander had more points than him with 98 this season. Forsberg is a great goal-scorer and seems like he is getting better at it at age 29. He will be one of the leaders and one of the best players on the team.

Saros is the only goalie selected to the top six of either of the teams and Nashville's starter is having himself a couple of days. After reportedly signing an eight-year deal with the Predators, he appears to be the starting goalie for Team Finland.

Saros is an elite goalie, but his overall numbers dipped a bit this season after three consecutive years as the starter putting up very high quality seasons. He still finished with 35 wins and a .906 SV%. There are a few options to back him up, but Saros has proven that he deserved the initial spot on the team.

For two of the top members of the Predators, it should be good for them to compete in a best-on-best right before the stretch run of next season.
