Teddy Stiga appears to be a steal at No. 55 in the draft by the Nashville Predators as he was ranked higher on many notable draft board predictions.

The Predators are getting a highly motivated and versatile winger who's speed and ability to read plays allows him to play at the top of the lineup. He's not the biggest player at 5'10, 179 lbs, but is a fearless player who will attack opponents and force turnovers.

Stiga spent the majority of the 2023-24 season at the US National U18 Team, playing 61 games and scoring 36 goals and 79 points, but also suited up for 27 games at the USNDTP Juniors scoring 18 goals and 38 points as well as at the U18 World Junior Championship. He showed his skill there as well with six goals and 11 points in seven games.

This speedy young player projects to be a middle-6 forward in the NHL with the potential to play even higher and with anyone. Stiga is also a two-way player and described as a playmaker with a good understanding of the game and great decision-making. The Predators should be very happy with this pick in the latter half of the second round.
