Tennessee has the momentum for an SEC commit

Buford (Ga.) four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte has options. The No. 136 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings has been committed to Georgia since Dec. 8, 2022. That hasn’t stopped other schools from recruiting him.

At different times, different schools have been viewed as Georgia’s biggest competition. This time a year ago, Auburn was being talked about the most. Florida State took that spot last fall. Miami was a school high on his list earlier this year. Auburn re-emerged as well. But the school now with the most buzz around it is Tennessee .

Perlotte took an official visit to Knoxville in June and the Vols have had the momentum since The four-star was in Athens for an official visit late in June, but Tennessee continues to trend for one of the best in the Peach State.

There is talk of Perlotte returning to Knoxville later this month for another unofficial visit and there is no staff recruiting him harder than Josh Heupel’s.

With the buzz continuing to pick up around Tennessee, I have moved my pick on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine over to Tennessee.

Coming off the official visit to Tennessee, Perlotte said, “I loved it. The coaches are great, they showed a lot of love and me and my family loved the visit. They really made me feel like a priority.”
