Will Levis passes the first test on Tennessee Titans report day for NFL training camp

Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans are going to look completely different in the 2024 NFL season. Brian Callahan and Nick Holz' new offensive system installed. Derrick Henry gone. Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd, Tony Pollard, and a completely revamped offensive line with JC Latham locking down the left side. Expectations will be much higher than a year ago.

How will Levis and the Titans live up to their own expectations as they attempt to meet all their goals? It's going to be a tough task, but Will Levis has passed the first test of Tennessee Titans training camp.

Will Levis the first one in on report day

Tennessee Titans training camp kicked off Tuesday July 23rd and Will Levis wanted to set the tone early, so he decided to make sure he was the first one in on day one. You love to see it.

It's not a surprise to see a team's quarterback be the first one to "get to the office", but it's nice to see from Levis who has consistently been winning over his teammates this whole offseason. And really, he won his teammates over the second he took over at quarterback last season as he threw four touchdowns against the Falcons. Jeffery Simmons put it best in response to one of Levis' long touchdown passes in that first big game when he said:

"That's damn Will Levis man. I told y'all that's a quarterback!"

After that first huge game Levis struggled to find consistency as he threw four touchdowns to four interceptions the rest of the way down the stretch in 2023. However, he's turned things around this offseason in a big way, been working on his technique , and according to both Brian Callahan and general manager Ran Carthon (at the opening presser today) he's standing out as a trusted leader in the Titans' locker room.

Open media availability for Titans practice begins Wednesday July 24th so we'll be getting to see Levis make some plays up close and personal here soon as he continues to progress!
