Tennesee Titans 2024 NFL Training Camp Preview

There’s only one way to introduce the Tennessee Titans 2024 NFL Training Camp Preview. This team is irrelevant and cursed until further notice. Karma works in mysterious ways but it favors those who pay attention. Maybe one day I’ll get my case of beer.

    Three Position Battles To Watch:

1: Guard: Saahdiq Charles, Dillon Radunz

Charles is an import from Washington who his former employee picked in the fourth round once upon a time out of LSU. Randuz is a former second round pick who hasn’t lived up to the small hype train he had coming out of college. Let the best man win. Regardless, this offensive line was so bad that it can’t get worse considering Bill Callahan in the new line coach, right?

2: Running Back: Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Haason Haskins, Dillon Johnson

Call me crazy but I’m taking Spears over Pollard in fantasy this year. Let me know if you agree or disagree.

Anywho… that’s going to be the rotation this year. Pollard was brought in as a free agent and we’re going to get a question answered this year.

No, I’m not talking about the fact that the Titans predictably got horny for a former running back / wide receiver / gadget guy who played for Memphis.

Sorry, I’m doing my best this team is irrelevant. Who cares about the Titans? They’re so dumb they actually blamed this trash bag failure of a team that everybody with a brain knew it was Jon Robinson’s fault why they stunk and fired Mike Vrabel.

We don’t think that’s going to backfire? The guy traded AJ Brown for Treylon Burks (w ho I was also right about ) and you want me to take this team seriously for blaming Vrabel?

    K

Good luck with this whole Will Levis thing.

    I’m in a no-lose situation.

One of two things are going to happen.

Levis is either going to somewhat figure it out if Brian Callahan can successfully smoke and mirror him to a successful season.

AKA Matt Nagy with Trubisky in 2018 or Brian Daboll with Daniel Jones in 2022.

    OR

Levis will just suck because their offensive line is trash and he’s a wildcat quarterback.

Either way, you and I both know this puppy isn’t working out long term to a degree where the Titans are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

I’ve been right about your team this entire team and if one of your fans had any pride you would buy me a case of beer so this curse goes away.

    Getting back on track now.

The real question that needs to be answered that I genuinely don’t have an answer to yet but we’re going to find out. Did Tony Pollard stink last year because he should have never been the lead and only back in an offense or is he really starting to decline? Not to mention the fact that Tennessee doesn’t have Zack Martin at guard. I wish I had a crystal ball on it because it would make life easier for fantasy football purposes.

3: Cornerback: Chidobe Awuzie, Caleb Farley, Jarvis Brownlee,

Remember that thing where I said I’ve been right about this team the entire time? Caleb Farley was picked way too high and everybody with a brain knew it. Except nobody knew it because the mainstream NFL Draft community stinks too. Sorry, not sorry for being toxic Trey today. Somebody has to save this industry and I guess I’m going to have to do it.

    Rookie To Watch: JC Latham

Can he play left tackle? He’s going to have to. You know my thoughts on Latham by now if you keep up with what’s going on. Here you go if you’re new to the party.

    Ready to Breakout: Roger McCreary

We only live via the way of the Chinese farmer. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.

L’Jarius Sneed was acquired this offseason and he’s going to help. Trent McDuffie won’t look nearly as good without him. Especially now that he has to play outside corner too.

Roger McCreary has now entered the chat. I bet he pops and becomes one of the better slot corners in the league. We’ll see on that but I think that’s one of the best things the Titans probably have going for them around the corner. Pun very intended.

    Fantasy Sleeper: Will Levis

Hear me out. I’m out on Levis but I’m in on the fact that he might actually get rushing totals that make him lowkey fantasy relevant in leagues where you need balls to play because it’s two QB starting lineups. That could certainly happen and the weapons (Hopkins / Ridley) are intriguing.
