    Where to watch the Olympics in Nashville, Franklin? Viewing parties range from AMC theaters to Broadway

    With the one of a kind 2024 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony approaching this Friday, many are opting to attend viewing parties to celebrate this year's Olympians.

    For the first time ever, instead of taking place in a stadium, the iconic ceremony will take place on the Seine River in Paris with thousands of athletes and performers expected to be carried on boats down the nearly four-miles long floating parade route.

    Here are few bars and restaurants throughout the Nashville and Williamson County area that plan to host viewing parties for either the length of the games of just the opening ceremony.

    Factory at Franklin

    Since July 20th, The Factory at Franklin’s Grand Hall has been transformed into a Parisian courtyard for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Along with live viewing parties, specially catered menus and photo opportunities, this event has a plethora of highlights. The Skylight Bar which opened in 2023 has be transformed into the “Skylight in Paris” and features themed food and drinks. Guest can experience hand-crafted cocktails featuring Moët & Chandon Champagne, along with Veuve Clicquot and a variety of others.

    Photo opportunities including a mini Olympic podium are also available a long with Olympic-themed games and competitions for competitors of all ages. This event also functions as a fundraiser with locks available to purchase to be hung on their Paris gate. All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of Tennessee.

    Scouts Pub

    The popular Southern pub located in the Westhaven neighborhood of Franklin is hosting their own viewing party. Known for its hand-crafted cocktails, they are offering a specially crafted drink to provide customers with a "Parisian feel." The cocktail known as the Empressionist is made with Empress gin, lemonade, and a house-made lavender-honey syrup.

    AMC Thoroughbred 20

    AMC theaters across the county will be streaming the Olympics for the first time ever! Approximately 160 theaters will livestream various events throughout the course of the games. Franklin's Thoroughbred 20 offers a combination of dining and entertainment, while allowing guest to enjoy a meal from their extensive menu while watching your favorite Olympic events. Guest can also book an entire theater for their own watch party for $229.00 for up to 20 people.

    Where to watch the Olympics in Nashville

    Acme Feed & Seed

    Throughout the course of the games, Acme will be hosting nightly streaming parties. The free event will host all sports fans on the second floor with food and drinks for purchase. RSVP is required and is available to do so on their website or on eventbrite. Viewing parties run from July 27th - August 11th and start at 7 P.M.

    Jasper's

    The midtown Nashville bar and restaurant will host a viewing party for the opening ceremony starting at 11 a.m. on July 27th. All TVs will be tuned into the Olympics and the game room will offer a variety of games including table tennis, basketball, giant Jenga, and various board games.

    Olympic themed food and drink specials include; Go for the Gold (Chambord, sparkling wine, gold shimmer), the frozen Star Spangled Bramble (Nelson’s Green Brier whiskey, pomegranate, orange, lemon, tiki bitters, Bomb Pop garnish), and the Red, White & Bleu Burger (bacon, caramelized onions, blue cheese crumbles, sundried tomato aioli, spinach, and fries). These special items will be available through August 11.

    Draftkings Sports & Social

    Located on the first floor of Nashville Live!, the popular bar will feature the opening ceremony with an all-day happy hour. Tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while the large LED media wall features the one of a kind ceremony that will take place on the Seine River.
