Titans QB Will Levis is Blowing Minds With 'Impressive' Development at Training Camp

The Tennessee Titans begin training camp after having a thrilling offseason. With the front office making several key moves, the franchise hopes to get back to playoff contention sooner, rather than later. That's despite the lack of faith from NFL fans around the league.
However, it sounds like second-year quarterback, Will Levis, has made strides in his development. Head coach Brian Callahan seemed a bit blown away by how well Levis is playing at training camp. While speaking with the media , Callahan claimed that Levis has been "really impressive" to begin training camp.
"He's been really impressive. I think his hard work this offseason over the summer has really paid off. He's extremely confident right now and he's earned that confidence. Every day that he comes out and plays well he earns more confidence."
If Brian Callahan's comments are true then Will Levis very well could be in for a big year. The Titans' quarterback has been seen working with the projected starting wide receivers often throughout the offseason. After showing flashes in his rookie year, Levis could be on track for a big leap in production next season.
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis (8) warms up before a game against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas., Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023.
Even teammate DeAndre Hopkins is impressed with Will Levis at training camp, per Kayla Anderson 1045 The Zone. Hopkins claims he's noticed a huge difference with how Will Levis is approaching the upcoming season. Especially now that the starting job belongs to Levis.
"Just knowing he's coming into camp as QB1. Obviously, his mindset is a little different than it was last year going into camp and you can tell how he's approaching it every day."
The Titans selected Will Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He began his career on the bench behind Ryan Tannehill, but eventually made his NFL debut in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons.
It was a roller coaster of a rookie year but Levis flashed enough talent for the Titans to believe in him as their franchise quarterback. Injuries cut his season short though, so staying healthy is a must for Will Levis moving forward. Last season, Levis finished with 1,808 passing yards, nine total touchdowns, and a 58.4 completion percentage through nine games.
Tennessee is currently deemed as a long shot to make a playoff run in the 2024 season. However, the Titans sound optimistic about Levis' development. If he truly takes the next step then this team could be one to watch in the AFC South.
