A star-studded lineup. About a month ago, the Toby Keith
estate announced a one night only benefit concert called Toby Keith: American Icon to be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville this coming Monday, July 29th. It's being filmed live to eventually air on NBC, and today, they revealed the full lineup that already included massive names like Carrie Underwood and Eric Church. Trace Adkins, Jamey Johnson, Riley Green, Darius Rucker, Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson, Parker McCollum, Priscilla Block, Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis, Scotty Emerick, Brett Favre, Brantley Gilbert, HARDY, Tyler Hubbard, Krystal Keith, Ella Langley, Leanne Morgan, Mac McAnally, Jelly Roll and Clay Walker will all take the stage and sing some of Keith's biggest hits and fan-favorite songs. Additionally, Toby's daughter Krystal Keith will deliver a very special performance honoring her late father that I'm sure will be a highlight of the evening. The show will also air on NBC as a two-hour special on Wednesday, August 28th, and tickets are still available for fans to attend in-person this coming week: https://www.instagram.com/p/C9f4aaAOV82/ Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit both The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. The Toby Keith Foundation was started in 2006, and a huge portion of the foundation is the housing he offers for families with children receiving treatment in OKC. The OK Korral (similar to a Ronald McDonald house) provides places for families to stay without putting financial stress on them. Sadly, the country legend passed away in February at the age of 62 after a lengthy battle with stomach cancer, but his foundation continues to do good for his home state of Oklahoma and the communities there. It's great to see his legacy continuing as his foundation in his home state, as well as the children's hospital at Vanderbilt, will continue to benefit because of his big heart and charitable efforts:
"Celebrate 'Toby Keith: American Icon' at Bridgestone Arena on July 29th featuring Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, The War and Treaty, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson and more! Tickets on sale Friday at 10am CT at tobykeith.com. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses, and will go towards Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals and the top rated in the Southeast." Make sure you tune in for this one, because there's sure to be some stellar performances and great collaborations from some of Toby's friends and fellow artists in country music.
