Titans DT Jeffery Simmons Furiously Goes off on Local Radio Host Live on Air

It would behoove Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons to get some thicker skin.

As the 27-year-old All-Pro was walking past a row of local radio shows set up outside of Titans training camp, Simmons interrupted 104.5 The Zone’s “The Buck Reising Show” while it was live on air to let its host, Buck Reising, know he wasn’t too thrilled with some of the things he’d been saying lately.

“You do a lot of talking on social media,” Simmons exclaimed.

Someone in the background — likely a member of the Titans PR department — could be heard saying, “Hey, hey, hey,” in an attempt to cool down the 6-foot-4, 305-pound lineman.

Reising responded by asking Simmons to sit down with him and have a conversation on air — a request Simmons had no desire to take part in.

“Stop talking on social media, talk to me,” Simmons shouted.

Reising again proposed Simmons hash out his personal grievances with him on the air, even offering him the chance to pull up a chair and converse, but again, Simmons resisted.

“I don’t want to talk to you, you’re a p----” he stated.

Whether or not Simmons’ anger is justified, his actions Tuesday certainly aren’t a good look for him or the organization, and disciplinary action could be coming his way.
