There are few players on the Tennessee Titans who need a stronger offseason showing than 2021 first-round pick and cornerback, Caleb Farley.

Farley has had an incredibly disappointing first three seasons to start his career. On top of dealing with multiple injury issues, including a torn ACL, Farley simply has not played well when he has been on the field.

But it appears he's making inroads to turning the corner ahead of his fourth year. When the pads came on for Tuesday's practice, Farley made multiple standout plays, both during one-on-ones and in a team period.

    Most importantly, he looks confident.

Farley also showed a little feistiness on one rep, getting into it wide wide receiver Mason Kinsey, according to Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com .

"Cornerback Caleb Farley hasn't been getting a whole lot of work in the defense, but he made a nice play defending DeAndre Hopkins in 1-on-1s and he broke up another pass in team drills," Wyatt wrote. "Farley and receiver Mason Kinsey got into a mini-scuffle in the second half of practice."

Farley entered training camp on the roster bubble, and while the Titans would eat money if they cut him, it's hard to imagine that being a determining factor in whether or not he makes the 53-man roster.

Instead, Farley is going to have to earn his spot behind the starting trio of L'Jarius Sneed, Chidobe Awuzie and Roger McCreary. So far, he's off to a good start in his quest to do that.
