Tennessee Titans see another heated exchange at practice on Wednesday

One day after the Tennessee Titans saw multiple fights that led to a brawl during practice on Tuesday, there was yet another heated exchange between two players Wednesday, which was the team's second padded practice of training camp.

According to Paul Kuharsky , the heated exchange took place between tight end Josh Whyle and linebacker Kenneth Murray. Kuharsky notes that Murray was "offering loud and harsh review of Whyle's game," and added that the Titans linebacker "swung at" Whyle.

Per AtoZ Sports Nashville , the exchange occurred after Whyle beat Murray during the seven-on-seven portion of practice and wasn't happy with Whyle's display of confidence. After the play, Murray "slapped and head butted" Whyle.

Thankfully, it doesn't appear things escalated to anywhere near the level they did Tuesday, when several players got into a brawl that saw a dog pile and multiple punches thrown.

Defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons was the main instigator, and he even went off on a reporter after practice. The two have since patched things up , though.

"It is what it is, it's football," Callahan added. "I don't mind guys setting the tone with the intensity ramped-up and we've just got to understand that we can play to the edge and we can still play within the rules. And fighting is a penalty, it's usually an ejection, it hurts our team, we can't have that."

Training camp fights are completely normal, but it's important that Callahan does not let things get out of hand like they did on Tuesday.

That said, it's good to see Whyle showing some confidence ahead of his second season. He has been having a fantastic offseason thus far and looks primed to have a role in this offense.

Meanwhile, Murray has been good in his own right and we don't mind seeing his fire, either. But please, no punches.
