Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons had himself quite a Tuesday. Not only did he get into multiple fights at the team's first padded practice of camp, he also went viral for his tirade at a reporter, who he wasn't happy with after some tweets pertaining to Simmons' scuffles.

On Wednesday, the reporter, AtoZ Sports' Buck Reising , tweeted that the two have since talked things through and everything is fine between them, saying, "Had a great chat with Jeff. All good on both sides. Enough with the side shows. Play ball."

After practice, Simmons went into detail about what led to the tirade and took full responsibility for it. He also revealed the Titans' public relations team suggested he delete his social media. Simmons has also instructed his family members to stop sending him things that might anger him.

"At the end of the day, I take full accountability of my actions on the field," Simmons said, per AtoZ Sport s. "That will never happen again with me. I always talk about that switch, when to turn it on and when to turn it off. I kind of still had it on coming off the field with the way practice went... It'll never happen again, and to all (the media), I apologize."

"That's not me, we're going to move forward from that," Simmons added, per Paul Kuharsky . "I'm ready to focus on football. I just want to win. Like I said, I'm not with all the social media stuff. I got a text message from (public relations) later to delete social media while I'm in camp. I don't want to get the text message. I told my family, don't send it to me no more, none of that. I'm not angry (at the media), I don't have anything against (the media). You guys have a job, I have a job. We know you guys are going to critique us, we're not going to like it. We also have a right to speak our opinion, as well, just like you guys. I'm not angry with no one, I just don't like some of the stuff that's being said. That's my opinion. I'm just ready to move on from that, yesterday was unacceptable and I came back to practice today and had a great day."

We tried to find video of Simmons commenting on the actual practice fights from Tuesday, but we couldn't locate any.

While much of the attention has been on Simmons' tirade at the reporter, the bigger issue is his starting fights at practice. Again, camp fights are going to happen, but Big Jeff is more of a team leader than ever and he should be the one breaking up fights, not starting them.
