Americana Honors and Awards winner and Artist of the Year nominee Sierra Ferrell has been announced as the headlining act as Honky Tonk Tuesday Nights kicks off its latest era at Eastside Bowl on Aug. 6, 2024.

Twenty-four hours after being joined by the likes of BR5-49's Chuck Mead to close out nearly a decade at Inglewood's American Legion Post 82, Brendan Malone and Kevin Martin's critically acclaimed and locally beloved Honky Tonk Tuesday Nights (HTTN) event has already doubled down on changing nothing while continuing to expand the reach and scope of their weekly festivities.

In a press statement, Eastside Bowl's management highlights that the move allows Malone and Martin to continue to pursue HTTN’s legacy and longevity through "a significantly larger capacity and dance floor, three stages, food and acres of free parking. The event will now welcome attendees 18+ while still offering free admission for United States military veterans and active military.

Eastside Bowl is only two miles north of the American Legion at Gallatin Road's intersection with Briley Parkway. At the venue, regular programming will remain the same, with dance lessons beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a rotating set of performers and a closing set from house band The Cowpokes. The venue will also host Todd Day Wait's official late-night afterparty formerly held at Inglewood's local bar, The Underdog .

A decade ago, Malone and Martin began the event as a quaint recalling of boot-scooting and two-stepping country and Western times past with their band, The Cowpokes, playing a closing set of honky-tonk tunes. It has become a favorite of country stars, Americana award-winners and devoted lovers of honky-tonk culture.

Those names included Country Music Hall of Famers, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famers and Grand Ole Opry members like Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, 2023 Americana Music Association Artist of the Year nominees Charley Crockett, Ferrell and Margo Price, plus Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves.
